On tuesday, we decided to drive only to Cacoal, Rondonia and stay at "Cocoal Selva Park Hotel" which had been recommended by a Brazilian colleague.

We ended up behind this very wide load slowly making its way down the highway....
It took us the morning to drive the 350 km and by lunch time we were all pool side...The boys burned some energy while Marnie and I just chilled with cold beer and a book...ok one of had a book, the other some maps....
Selva Park is a relatively large resort just outside of Cocoal with lagoons, pools, zip lines, tree walking, monkeys and beautiful Araras flying around....and the odd (dead) tarantula spider.
It was great to have some time to relax, do some laundry and re-pack the back of the truck.
